Thank you Professor Easler for making BUAD 100 fun and interactive while also informative! I appreciate not only your enthusiasm during that 8am class, but also all the effort you gave terms of exposing us to real life situations and opportunities. For that class being my first ever college class, it was the smoothest transition I could have asked for because of her!
Susan is one of the best and most committed teachers that I have ever known! I have witnessed how she interacts and relates to her students, and fellow faculty and administration in the College of Nursing. Susan is so dedicated to her field of Nursing, and to the learning of Nursing by students. Leading by example, Susan encourages excellence and hard work from College of Nursing's faculty, both from a mental and physical perspective. I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to get to know her and her colleagues, and to see how she interact with students. Susan is a great person, and such a hard worker. I commend her for excellence in her field.
Dr. Orme has had a great impact on my journey as a PhD student. Students walk into graduate-level statistics being petrified, and yet, he somehow manages to teach statistics in a friendly, supportive environment. Dr. Orme always makes time outside of class to help students and ensure they have the tools they need to be successful. He will be sorely missed at the College.
Dr. Herron is an all-star faculty member. Her approach to teaching is innovative, and she possesses the unique ability to capture students’ attention on topics of which they have little interest. Plus, she always makes time for a cup of coffee and chat with students. I have sincerely appreciated her mentorship over the past few years.
Over the past few years as interim dean, I have watched Dr. Dupper give a voice to staff, students, and faculty. He genuinely cares about each person within our College and believes in creating a positive, healthy learning and working environment for all. I appreciate the time, effort, and energy he has given as interim dean and as my one of my mentors.
Dr. Broemmel is the definition of success. She is so accomplished, put together, and effective and efficient at her job. She cares about her students, gives amazing feedback, and is overall a flawless human being. I am so glad to have met Dr. Broemmel and know that I am a better student because of her teaching.
Dr. Groenke is one of the most selfless, brilliant, and inspiring professors I've ever had. She flawlessly juggles one million tasks while making time for her students. She is always available for advice or feedback no matter how busy she is. I aspire to be like her in so many ways!
Lisa Reyes Mason
Dr. Mason is an incredible mentor and teacher to many doctoral students, including myself. Her expertise, kindness, patience, and dedication make her one of a kind and a major asset to the University. I feel fortunate that she has been part of my PhD journey. Thank you for taking me under your wing.
Thanks for being a great adviser and mentor. I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for me. You are always kind, helpful, and truly care about your students. Thank you!
Dr. LaCure's anime and manga class is BY FAR one of the best classes I have ever taken here at UT! It's been about a year since I've taken it but I think about how great it was almost every single day. I think he's close to retiring, but if you get a chance to take his class please do it! Thank you for everything, Dr. LaCure!
Dr. Raposo in the Geography department makes learning computational and geospatial techniques engaging and fun. He's one of the best professors I've ever had. Take a class from him!!
Co-teaching with Dr. Suzie Allard, Dr. Diane Kelly is making INSC 510 a great experience so far and I'm loving the really personalized and engaging interactions in class!
Dr. Bishop makes class fun. His slides always include funny pictures and he works hard to include pop culture examples in his lectures. And it's really not just a lecture. He encourages us to participate and talk to him. His classes are never a one way interaction. He wants his students to be involved!

She goes above and beyond to try and get everyone connected to the right fit for internships. She genuinely cares about our experience in the internship process and values students opinions and perspectives during this stressful and unsure time. It’s encouraging to know she is on our side.
She is open to share her perspective and experience as a social worker and therapist. She is honest about areas that are not strengths but always asks questions and seems eager to learn and grow.
Dr. Hart allowed me to interview her for one of my other classes, and she went above and beyond with the information she shared with me. She offered a great deal of advice, and she showed me how much she truly cares about her students and her profession. She works incredibly hard, and that is evident. Dr. Hart, thank you so much for all you do. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and you are so appreciated!
Thank you for actually making calculus a joy to learn. Whether it was through examples involving goats, the Solid Snake series, or quantum teleportation, you always made class fun (and still educational). I especially loved all the brain teasers you gave us and your great personality in and out of the classroom. Thank you for being you.
Dr. Kenna! Thank you so much for your support and encouragement as I continue my journey to earn my Ph.D! Thank you for always having my back...and for teaching me that it's totally worth it to trek across Chicago to find a delicious donut! You rock!
Dr. P! Your mentorship and understanding are unsurpassed and for that I am forever grateful! Thank you for your wisdom, guidance, and compassion as I earn my Ph.D! You aren't just helping me become a stellar academic, you make me a better person!
Professor Steckel has a passion for neuroscience viewed in a person in environment perspective. She greatly expanded my knowledge of how experience changes the body and the brain
